About Us
Born in Cape county on a farm, I was raised
with hard work and a quest for knowledge as
a basis of life.
After graduating Southeast Missouri State
University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science
in Agriculture Business, I decided to further
my education in a subject that intrigued me,
aesthetics.
I graduated from the Aesthetics Institute of
St. Louis in Spring of 2004. Since then I have
been trained in various product lines and
procedures that has made me the well
rounded esthetician I am today.
Due to the fact I have this crazy thirst for
knowledge, I am currently furthering my
education. I am going to the Southeast
Missouri Hospital College of Nursing to
become an nurse. The knowledge I have
been able to bring back to the spa is great. I
feel that it has made me a better esthetician.
Plus, I've been able to share with nurses and
students my knowledge of alternative
treatments (like massage and guided
imagery) that are beneficial for people.
I started Aura Skin & Body Care in May 2007
after working in other salon/spas in Cape
since 2004. I wanted to offer clients a warm,
quiet atmosphere way from distraction so
they can Relax and Rejuvenate (R & R) and
receive one on one treatments.
I am excited to be at the beginning of a great
journey in life. I have so many plans I want to
see happen in the future.  I know that my
clients will love what I have in store for the
future. I hope you will be there.
